Why Should I Care About Climate Change?

This past weekend, I went to Washington DC to attend the “Forward on Climate” rally to stop the Keystone XL Pipeline.

On one of the coldest and windiest days of the year, tens of thousands of people of all ages—there were even numerous babies being pushed in strollers—came together to fight for our environment and our futures. This rally, organized by 350.org, Sierra Club, and the Hip-Hop Caucus, was said to be the largest climate rally in US history. Naturally, it was super inspiring.
